La budesonida también se utiliza para prevenir los pólipos nasales después de haberlo extraído con cirugía. La budesonida podría utilizarse también para otros propósitos además de los enumerados en esta guía de medicación.
¿Qué debería comentarle a mi médico antes de tomar esta medicina?
No debería tomar budesonida si es alérgico a la misma.
Antes de utilizar la budesonida, informe a su médico si ha estado enfermo o ha tenido algún tipo de infección. Tal vez no pueda utilizar budesonida hasta que se encuentre completamente repuesto.
También informe a su médico si es alérgico a algún medicamento o si sufre:
- enfermedades del hígado;
- glaucoma o cataratas;
- virus por herpes en sus ojos;
- tuberculosis u otro tipo de infecciones o enfermedades;
- heridas o úlceras dentro de su nariz; o
- si ha tenido una lesión reciente o cirugía en la nariz.
La categoría de la FDA para el embarazo en B. No se espera que la budesonida sea dañina para el feto. Informe a su médico si está embarazada o está planeando quedarse embarazada durante el tratamiento. Se desconoce si la budesonida se transmite con la leche materna o si podría dañar al lactante. - un antidepresivo "SSRI", tales como la fluoxetina (Prozac), fluvoxamina (Luvox), o paroxetina (Paxil), o
- antidepresivos tricíclicos como la amitriptilina (Elavil, Etrafon), amoxapina (Ascendin), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramina (Norpramin), doxepina (Sinequan), imipramina (Janimine, Tofranil), nortriptilina (Pamelor), protriptilina (Vivactil), o trimipramina (Surmontil).
Esta lista no está completa y puede haber otras medicinas que interactúen con la Budesonida. Informe a su médico sobre todas las medicinas recetadas y no recetadas que está usando. ¿Qué efectos secundarios podría notas con esta medicina?
Consiga ayuda médica urgente si tiene alguno de estos signos de reacción alérgica a la Budesonida: urticaria, dificultad para respirar, hinchazón del rostro, labios, lengua o garganta. Llame a su médico si sufre alguno de estos efectos secundarios severos:
- sangrado severo y continuo de la nariz;
- heridas en la nariz que no se curan;
- silbidos, dificultad para respirar;
- problemas de visión; o
- fiebre, escalofríos, dolores corporales y síntomas gripales.

- garganta irritada o seca, tos;

- dolor, hinchazón, quemazón, picor e irritación de garganta;
